03.03.2022 - Against the background of sustainable business and thus responsibility towards the environment and society, Grüning + Loske GmbH decided to have itself assessed by EcoVadis. This company has created a globally accessible platform for the assessment of companies with regard to CSR criteria, in which over 85,000 companies are currently registered.
On the basis of a branch-specific questionnaire, we dealt intensively with the areas of environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. For this purpose, EcoVadis compiled a wide-ranging questionnaire with not only economic, but also social, ecological and ethical points. The result is then summarised by EcoVadis in a rating.
We are very proud that we immediately achieved bronze medal status here!
This means that we scored better than half of the rated companies in our sector. For our customers, the rating means a safe CSR assessment of Grüning + Loske.
However, the rating not only shows our current status of efforts towards sustainability! Very valuable is the detailed evaluation of our documentation, which shows us exactly: we can do even better. Here we can specifically address points in the CSR management of the company. We are already on our way to re-scoring in a year's time and are excited to see what else can be achieved. Only with an effort by society as a whole on a global level will it be possible to preserve an environment worth living in for everyone.
In the coming years, Grüning + Loske will focus particularly on the areas of energy and the environment and will continue to invest in renewable energies.
